Sample it. Sequence it. Randomate it. Perform it.
Pulsark is a groovestation for iPad — a sampler, 16-track sequencer, 16-strip mixer, Randomator and a live Perform stage. Standalone, or as an AUv3 right inside your host.

A full groovestation in your hands
16 pads. Four banks. One tap.
Slice, chop and repitch anything. Five play engines — Oneshot, Repitch, Stretch, Slice and Grid — each with play modes, and a lo-fi strip with bit + sample-rate reduction and overdrive.
- 4 banks × 16 pads, multi-finger drumming
- 17 filter engines, from clean ladders to acid
- Record from mic, line-in or resample the master
Lock any parameter to any step.
Parameter locks for micro-timing, velocity, pan, pitch, gate and sample start. Eight trig conditions and retrig give every step its own behaviour. Grid, Orbit and Euclid modes share one pattern.
- Per-step p-locks, retrig and trig conditions
- Grid · Orbit · Euclid sub-modes
- Up to 64 steps, per-track resolution
A live stage on the last tab.
A morph field with six scene slots blended in real time, an XY performance pad that bends two parameters across every track, and momentary punch FX rendered by shared DSP.
- Scene morph with puck-motion recording
- XY pad: filter, space, crush, pitch
- Punch FX: fill, tape stop, vinyl break, stutter, pump
Mix it like hardware.
Sixteen channel strips with three-band EQ, an insert slot, a character override and two aux sends, into a master chain with a sidechain compressor, character and soft clip — with real L/R metering and a VU.
- 3-band EQ, insert FX, sends A/B per strip
- Two aux busses: tempo delay, reverb, chorus
- Master compressor, character and soft clip
Arrange it, then take it anywhere.
Chain patterns into a tracker-style song of up to thirty-two rows with per-row mutes. Then bounce WAV stems, or export to your DAW — swing, groove, micro-timing and trig conditions baked into the timeline.
- Song mode: 32 rows, labels, per-row mutes
- WAV stems at up to 32-bit / 96 kHz
- DAWproject 1.0 + MIDI, with samples
Hit generate. Get the genre.
Weighted probability maps distilled from hundreds of reference beats, so a random pattern always sounds like the genre you picked. Density, swing, ghost notes, accents and fills do the rest.
One tap. A thousand starting points.
The Randomator rolls real sound and mixer parameters across all sixteen tracks — pitch, sample start, envelope, pan, level, even bit depth and trig probability — from a seedable engine you can re-roll endlessly. Give each track its own variation depth, lock the sounds you love so they never move, and scope exactly what gets touched. It's built to surprise you, never to make noise.
- Sixteen parameters — pitch, envelope, pan, bit depth, ratchet and more
- Per-track variation depth, lock and scope
- Optional trig randomization · named templates · one-tap undo
Build your own sound bank — before the app even lands.
Synthesize a 16-pad kit from genre presets, upload your own samples, Randomate the whole thing, and export a .pkbank — the exact format Pulsark imports on day one.
Open Pulsark Studio →One engine. Standalone or hosted.
Plays inside your setup
Not a cut-down plugin view — the full Pulsark loads as an AUv3 instrument, host-synced, with automatable parameters and MIDI 2.0.
